Little Baby Belly

This pregnant belly belongs to my sister Ashley. I know I post more pictures of them than I do of my own children, but truthfully, that's because I probably take more pictures of them than I do of my own children. I swear that when I get the camera out for my kids they scream and run away. Or put up such a fuss it's simply impossible to get some good shots of them. I know it won't always be like that, so for now, here's my sister and her husband Brian and their adorable little man, Crew.

I'll end with this one. And I just have to say that I shot these pictures with my own 3 month old child in the bjorn (snuggly) and that he cried for about half the time. It was awesome. No, actually it was not. But I guess it proves that sometimes in life, to quote one of my favorite comedians, you just gotta 'get er done'.

Love these people and their soon to be daughter, Briley. I can't wait to meet her!

Beautiful Mommyhood

While in Arizona, my sister introduced me to a friend of hers and we were able to get together for a shoot. Doesn't Chesney make the most beautiful pregnant mama?! I barely know her but I am so super excited for her to be a mommy to little Brody who will make his appearance in the coming month. Congrats Chesney and Josh! I feel honored to have been able to be a part of your special time!!

Ashley and Jake

I stared and stared at these pictures trying to figure out which should go first. This one won. I love how all these turned out for them. Luck had to be on my side with how great these two were in front of the camera, how nice the weather and light was, and the fact that we went to two fabulous locations. I would gladly repeat this session if anyone is interested. :) Downtown and cheekwood anyone?






I could not figure out which I liked better. Color? Black and white? Ahhh... I love them both!


This one is probably my favorite of the day. Isn't it so sweet? Love it!

Have you ever loved a photo so much it makes you well up a little bit? Ok, so I am not welling up, (or so I will admit too) but I do love this picture so much! It is just how I imagined it when I asked them to lie down on the concrete at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. They were such good sports for me and I really loved this shoot. Thanks Ashley and Jake! Can't wait to post more. You two are such super models and you don't even know it! Stay tuned for more...

Congrats to Stacy and Jarrod!

These two were so much fun to do a shoot with. They were so goofy and having a great time with each other. And while sometimes that makes it difficult to get great pictures, it worked out well with these guys. Congrats to you Stacy and Jarrod!!
