Emma got baptized!
Recently I was asked to do a mini session with miss Emma who had just been baptized. Isn't she so beautiful?! She just has such a sweet spirit. She is a dancer and is in the performance of Cinderella at MTSU this weekend. Go Emma! I am sure you are a beautiful ballerina and will do awesome in your performance. In other news, I am a little behind with my blogging, so hopefully I can get caught up soon cause there's good stuff to share. Until then, enjoy Emma's preview pictures!

Spring Mini-Sessions Part Two
This cutie's name is Brexton. He was so much fun with that big smile.

And why haven't I shot with bubbles before? Hold moley do I love this picture!
This last picture is for Brexton's parents who tell me he is quite the 'mover and groover' type. He loves to get up and go. It works out nicely for pictures though. :)

I am sure you all remember Miss Abigail. She refused to give us a smile yesterday.... well, refused up until the very end of the shoot when I caught one. Ha! I caught it. :) Thanks Abby for being a trooper. I promise some day you'll like me.
She's going to be a big sister in July!!

I love this first photo of her. It's so, what is the word? Organic. Love her bare feet walking in the grass. Love it!

There it is!! The smile pops out at the very end of the day.
Thanks guys for the awesome day yesterday!!

Spring Mini-Sessions Part One
Yesterday's spring mini-shoots were a great success! I had such a fun time with these kids (and adults!). Thank you Kaylee, Linda and Joshua for this first preview post. You were awesome!

What a cutie! Thanks Melissa for bringing Joshua. I look forward to doing more pictures of the two of you!

This mother daughter session was so sweet. I love that you spent the time to get some pictures taken together... nothing expected, rather just that you wanted to remember this time together. I am so glad you guys contacted me again and that you moved back to TN!! Enjoy your preview!

College Roommates - 10 years later
My sister in law Jessie had the chance this week to spend time with her old college roommate Tiffany. The two of them haven't been in the same state for close to ten years (I believe)... but for them it's like time hasn't passed. I loved seeing Jessie's happy face as she got to spend time with someone who knew her way back when. I know the feeling, all too well, of loving that precious time with a friend who lives far away...
Aren't they cute?! I want to jump in there and have a good time right along with them.
I was so flattered when Jess asked me to take some pictures of them... I wish it hadn't been so cold for these poor kids, but man are they cute!!
Happy Thursday!!

V Family Preview
What made this photo shoot so fun was the age range. Baby Megan is 10 months old and Grandma is... well, she's older than 10 months. :) I don't think I am including a big group shot in this preview, but there's 3 families and a sweet grandma! But I really enjoyed being with this fun loving family. Thank you so much for the chance to hang out with you all for the day! Hope you enjoy your preview!

'M' Family Preview
I've known this family most of the time we've lived in Nashville. They are related to some good friends of ours back in the West. I was so excited when they asked me to do family pictures for them. And even though we had a falling incident with little Mitchell, I think the pictures turned out quite nicely! These are some cute kids.

Like this one... and this one:

And this one:

And this one.

Here's the whole family. Thanks again guys!

Little Baby Belly
This pregnant belly belongs to my sister Ashley. I know I post more pictures of them than I do of my own children, but truthfully, that's because I probably take more pictures of them than I do of my own children. I swear that when I get the camera out for my kids they scream and run away. Or put up such a fuss it's simply impossible to get some good shots of them. I know it won't always be like that, so for now, here's my sister and her husband Brian and their adorable little man, Crew.
Isn't he a cutie?!
I'll end with this one. And I just have to say that I shot these pictures with my own 3 month old child in the bjorn (snuggly) and that he cried for about half the time. It was awesome. No, actually it was not. But I guess it proves that sometimes in life, to quote one of my favorite comedians, you just gotta 'get er done'.
Love these people and their soon to be daughter, Briley. I can't wait to meet her!
Enjoy!

My-Lovie Children's Clothes and such.
Recently, I was contacted by Devrie, owner of My-Lovie boutique style children's clothes who needed pictures for her website. Devrie mostly sells her items online and oh my goodness they are seriously the cutest stuff! Check out her website to see more: my-lovie.blogspot.com
I know she's working on another website to further feature the cute things she makes, but for now, do check out these pictures. I happen to know she does personal orders... I know I'll be sifting through for an order soon. Anyone having a girl? Anyway, she makes cute clothes like this:

And this:

And this:

And these too:

Devrie also makes these cute stuffed animals.

Ok, here's where I was really impressed. She makes these soft shoes for girls who are learning to walk (or of course for those who know how to walk already). I am sure she could make these in any color. I shot 5 of these shoes, but here are two.

These are tote baskets which would be great for so many different uses.

I'll leave you with a bag that can be changed and worn three ways. Hopefully I'll be doing more shoots for My-Lovie so stay tuned for that. Happy Thursday!
