The 'D' Family

Here is a sample of the 'D' family. They are a great family, very giving and generous. They had been wanting to adopt for quite some time and a few months ago, a little boy joined their family. What an amazing thing to do for another family who for whatever reason couldn't take care of this little guy. He is full of energy and pure love. I had a blast with them! The last picture Timber wanted to do to symbolize the adoption circle and all the hands of the family as they come together. Enjoy the pics!

Alexa and Chloe

They were engaged less than a month. Now seven years later, they are still happy and in love. Oh yeah, and did I mention they have these two absolutely adorable girls. Nic and I have known Chris and Amanda for a long time so it was such a treat for me to spend some time with their girls, Alexa and Chloe. Even with a location and clothing change, we got some good stuff. Thanks again Amanda! Can't wait to come back to ID and do it again!

Business, Business

So many exciting things to update you on. First, there's the passion and love I feel for photography. Each day seems to bring it on more and more. I kinda like that feeling. Like it a lot. Next, I want to mention that I am moving forward with the business. I have ordered business cards for Christina Cole Photography, so lookout world, soon you'll all have my phone number, email and blood type. :) I have been working on pricing structures for my business and I can't wait till it is all said and done. Black and white. Set in stone. But, to give myself (and you guys) a break from it all, I have decided to keep my prices low through the end of the year. Not that I am going to raise the prices up a tremendous amount, it will just be more structured. So, more updates on that later.

In other exciting news, I have 3 shoots still to post from the past few weeks. LOVE these shoots. I have been taking pictures of a lot of children lately, and I gotta say, they are pretty darn cute. Well, you'll see.

Lastly, just wanted to mention my biggest news. In October I have been asked to co-shoot a wedding in Seattle. Like downtown Seattle. Like big time wedding. I am so excited! And a little nervous. Luckily I am the second shooter (meaning it all doesn't fall on me), but still. I feel good about having 2 more months to plan and prepare and practice. The 3 p's apparently. Right now I am loving taking couples engagements. I love love. A wedding is going to be over the top love and I can't wait! More on that later too.

Happy Saturday!

Little Miss Abby

These are a long time coming. Thanks Jen and Mike for being patient with me while I traveled across the country to visit family and go to a funeral. That last part wasn't fun. It was the first funeral I have ever been to. Knock on wood, I have never lost anyone close to me before. But we did get to spend time with a lot of family and enjoy ourselves. Plus, Cole gets to stay with Grandma and Grandpa till next week. He is having so much fun!

Little Abby was so cute and fun to work with. She has touched so many people's lives and in her 9 short months, won over so many hearts. I can't wait till her parents let me take pictures of them with her too. You guys are great! Enjoy!

Ashley and Brian

I know you all have been waiting for my next post with baited breath and I won't make you wait any longer.  :)  What?  You just happened to stumble upon my blog on accident, and you figure since you've made it this far you might as well take a look.  Well that's ok by me.  Either way, check out my time in Arizona with Ashley, Brian and baby Crew.  I had a blast with them!  And most important, they were such good sports every time I pulled out the camera.  My own children run screaming when I pull it out so it was a treat to not have to chase them down or bribe them with sugary foods.  I am really excited about this post because I have been working on my logo and on a new name.  I will use the logo (and name!) somehow in the header of my blog, on future websites, and of course to watermark my pictures that are on the web.  What do you think?  Kinda has a nice ring to it if you ask me.  My goal for the next week is to work on the header of this blog, so keep checking back for more updates.  Nashville is getting HOT so shoots are moving to early in the am or later in the pm.  Email or call me if you're interested in a future shoot.  Happy Wednesday.

Arizona Sunrise

I have been in southern Arizona visiting my sister, brother in law and their new baby Crew for the past 5 days. And I have loved every minute of it. Don't get me wrong, I miss my two little boys and handsome husband, but sometimes a girl's got to get away and relax. The only thing this trip needs is a visit to the massage salon. hehe. Here is a preview of some of the work I have done here. Had to get up at 4:45am to get these. It is dry, windy and lovely here. Enjoy!
